A RESOURCE FOR GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION
DEMOCRACY DIALOGUE showcases media from an historic encounter between Mohamed ElBaradei and Rajmohan Gandhi after Egypt’s January 25 Revolution of 2011, an event that inspired social movements around the world. The site also highlights a range of politically and socially engaged intellectuals from the 20th and 21st centuries. The hope is that the resources here can inform study groups, serve as material for courses, and offer direction to independent learners of all ages grappling with global democracy and citizenship education in our times of uprisings, precarity, and struggles for democratic change.
